Health Care
Free clinics, ambulances and mental health — health is a right, not a privilege.
What is the problem in West Bengal?
Rural Bengal has 1 doctor per 11,000 people — Sundarbans islands have 1 per 25,000.
Cataract, anaemia and uncontrolled diabetes go undiagnosed for years in interior blocks.
Mental health remains a taboo; suicide rates among farmers in Birbhum and Bankura are climbing.
What can be done?
Run a monthly free health camp in every Panchayat — BP, sugar, vision, dental, gynae.
Distribute Jan Aushadhi generic medicines at 60–80% below market price.
Train ASHA workers and 'Mann ki Baat' tele-counsellors for mental health first aid.
How can you & I solve this?
Sponsor one health camp — ₹25,000 covers 300 free check-ups.
Donate your unused prescription glasses, walkers, BP machines.
If you are a doctor / nurse — volunteer one Saturday a month for tele-OPD.
Our Stand
"The poorest Indians spend up to 60% of their income on out-of-pocket health expenses. A single free camp can save a family from generational debt."
